Inside is a bit old school Chinese restaurant vibe but very clean and neat. Amble parking space right outside. We ordered the Peking duck, ginger scallion crab and beef noodles and all super yummy and authentic taste. Especially the Peking duck, there are two ways to eat, one with the soft bun and one with lettuce, super tasty! Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet spot for authentic Chinese food. This is a missing jam and will definitely come back next time visiting Portland. ”

We also couldn't resist ordering the hot and sour soup. The flavors were balanced and highlighted the richness of the duck. “ Happy Dragon provided us with a nice, old-school dining experience that took me back to my childhood. A friend had discovered this place on a lunch hour exploration, and suggested it for a family style dinner destination. Each of the four of us chose an entree, (Mandarin Beef, Sautéed Green Beans, Kung Pao Chicken, and a black fungus, snow pea and yam veggie plate) and we piled on the unsurprising extras of an appetizer combo, a huge shared bowl of hot and sour soup, and rice. Service was super-quick - my friend had arrived first, and put in the order for the appetizer combo before we arrived. By the time we were putting in the order for everything else, the appetizers were arriving, and everything else began showing up before we finished the appetizers. ”
